Happy almost summer to all the bloggers out there!

It’s that time of the month again…podcast time!  This month, our counselors have narrowed their focus to cover these three diverse and interesting topics:

We first take a look at Gap Years.  We talk about why someone may consider taking one, what the advantages to doing so are, and things to consider when looking at gap year programs.

From there we move to letters of recommendations; who to ask and why, how many to have and when to ask for them.  Ideal listening for those who will be high school seniors in the fall!

And to end this podcast, we offer a sneak preview into our new CCP presentation “Before You Step Foot on Campus”.  For those attending college in the fall, we talk about how to pay for college, depositing for tuition and room and board, and what to expect during Orientation.

There’s lots of great and useful information in this podcast.  If you have suggestions for topics you would like to hear, please call us at 888.7.GRADUATE, ext. 119 or e-mail us at collegeplanning@nhheaf.org .

Enjoy the weather,
Val
