College Week Live

In a previous post, I emphasized the importance of attending a college fair to gain exposure to a wide variety of colleges and universities. For those of you who are in the process of identifying schools you may be interested in, there is a great resource available to you called College Week Live. Basically, College Week Live is an online college fair that gives you access to over 200 colleges and universities. The best part about this service is that it is completely free!
By attending the virtual College Week Live, students can see admissions experts speak on various topics such as preparing for SATs, writing the college essay, and Tackling the Financial Aid process. Students can also participate in real time question and answer sessions with professors, admissions counselors, and current students.

College Week Live Features:
• Virtual booths for over 200 colleges
• Live video presentations
• Live question and answer sessions
• Access to electronic brochures, webinars, and podcasts
• Online resource center for students and parents
• Scholarship and financial aid resources

The event is scheduled for November 12 and 13, from 9 A.M to 11 P.M. Registration is free for the event and also gives students the chance to win scholarships and giveaways. Check out the website for more information: www.collegeweeklive.com

Research your options,
Tom

The event was a great success. One of our very own college counselors, Shanyn Grenier, was featured as a guest speaker. Those of you who visited the event, what did you think?
